Labor Day Report
- Monday, September 5, 2011The weather has been fantastic for Labor Day weekend on Marco Island. Sunny and warm, great beach time. We've had many visitors join us for the long weekend.
Many of the hotel, merchants and resturants are reporting strong off-season sales relative to the last few years. This is a good way to end the summer and start getting geared up for the season.
People coming down here for the season will be impressed with the new bridge. It really makes driving onto the island a new experience. It looks great and they are almost finished with the landscaping and final touches.
